When We Are Older, You’ll Understand
100 Lyrics into Stories — No58
Tyria stands on the battlefield, knowing that there’s only one way out.
The soldiers are waiting for her to give the order. She knows their very lives are hanging in the balance — as if that’s made any difference to the gods before.
She’s prayed to gods all her life and has never heard them answer back.
That is her secret, and she’ll die with it.
But she has felt the shiver that has come with the devil’s touch along her spine.
“Listen closely, and you’ll live in splendor.”
But what if she no longer wants what he has to offer?
