Her big ticket out of the theater?
It would be a short film called Aquatic Dances.
A film producer had seen Kitty in a show a few months back, and Lawrence had been more than happy to act at the go-between. The man was essentially Kitty’s manager, after all, given that he had eyes everywhere when it came to the theater and its shows.
It didn’t matter that Kitty wished she had been the one to be approached for the opportunity — but she was basically a kept woman at the theater.
All she wanted was a modicum of freedom.
A Tale of Glitz & Glamour was inspired by Taylor Swift’s twelfth album The Life of a Showgirl. The main character is inspired by Taylor Swift’s showgirl character Kitty Finley. Out of copyright concerns, I have added my own embellishments to make the character my own, but each piece was inspired by one of Swift’s songs on the album.
