The Chronicles of Ghostboy and Lovergirl — No4
Not long after Lovergirl and Ghostboy became the latest it couple in Silversundown, she met her match in the vein of Tigerlily.
Tigerlily was a villain in the making, an archer by trade, who stood in the shadows and shot down adversaries with nullifying arrows.
Lovergirl wasn’t afraid of her. How could she be? Lovergirl’s voice could control entire populaces if she wanted to use it in that way. Sirens were formidable in folklore for a reason.
Tigerlily was a menace, though. Lovergirl didn’t like her one bit.
But villains could only be shot down if they made a scene.
The Chronicles of Ghostboy and Lovergirl is a microfiction series inspired by Taylor Swift’s Lover album (released 2019). Each story can be read as a standalone, but they build on each other for this superhero universe I’ve created.
