Dahlia Celestia was tired.
Adam Golding was tired.
Silversundown had so many problems that needed solving.
It was getting irritating how Tigerlily seemed to take matters into her own hands at the most inopportune moments too.
“Something needs to be done about her,” Dahlia said, biting one of her nails at the tip as she thought.
“What? She’s just an ant. Easily squashed.”
“Now you’re sounding like a villain.”
“To her, we are villains. She can’t be some wannabe vigilante. There are rules for a reason.”
“Then what do you propose we do?”
“Oh, I have plans, darling. Don’t worry.”
The Chronicles of Ghostboy and Lovergirl is a microfiction series inspired by Taylor Swift’s Lover album (released 2019). Each story can be read as a standalone, but they build on each other for this superhero universe I’ve created.
