This made me long for the days of pen pals past! It's actually hard to get reciprocation when you're writing letters or even cards; nowadays people just send me texts or messages when they receive what I wrote to them. I thought the pandemic, with people not having seen each other, might have changed that - but not really, at least from my experiences. :/ But this was a beautiful ode to the letter-writing feels!
