How have I somehow compiled (almost) twenty more stories to throw at you pertaining to my whims about love and relationships?
I don’t know, but I’ll keep it short since we’ve got a lot of ground to cover.
If you’ve been a reader of mine this summer, you might recall a series of short nonfiction all revolving around the idea of “The Boy” — mainly any fleeting crush or fascination on a guy in my thirty-plus years on this planet.
Most of my wounds come from one guy, someone I knew since the age of fifteen — and the short of it is that he ghosted me before we could figure out what was going on between us.
Then there are just the people who waft in and out of your life at will. Sometimes you’ll see one of them at the local grocery store and go through that awkward mish-mash of nostalgia and panic when you have to interact again.
