There’s Nothing Like An Electric Woman

They called her the most cutting-edge model ever made.
“It’s all right here in her head,” one man said. “Every man’s dreams made manifest. No longer will she be an enigma.”
A young woman in the audience raised her hand. “But sir — the AI system was made by men. How will she function as a proper woman?”
“Proper woman?” The man scoffed. “We want the best woman possible. And what better judges are there than the men who admire them?”
The young woman did not look convinced.
“Any other questions?”
“Will there be a male model available?”
Silence fell.
This is a part of my endeavor to go back to writing tighter fiction with more stringent word counts. It’s just one attempt at the 100 Story Challenge because I thought it would be a good exercise to do to keep my imagination sharp. We’ll see how it goes.
