The Twin Flames Project

100 Faces in 100 Stories — No10

--

I thought I knew you, but then you betrayed us.

The chip in my brain should have told me. I should have known before anyone else. Why else were we synchronized to each other from the day we were born?

When I cried, you cried. When you ached, I ached.

Twin flames. That’s what we were always supposed to be.

That’s how we were made.

But then you gave up the secret to our very DNA. Our enemies would know how to dismantle us from the inside out.

And your thoughts? I could no longer hear them.

I was lost.
