The Erl-king’s daughter looked like trouble. How could she not be when she had a legacy of death and bones behind her? That kind of bloodline spoke of curses, chaos, and calamity.

But she was a quiet girl whose stare was just a tad too intense. If a mortal man ever looked at her, he might be scorched on the very spot he stood. And she would have smiled, perhaps, for the power she held.

When she was of age, she would lead the Wild Hunt on nights just like these.

No one would be able to stop her.
