My eyes locked with hers across the room, and to say I was lost immediately would have been a deep understatement.

Her gaze seemed to shimmer like starlight by evening’s sweet kiss. Her lips were a Cupid’s bow with its arrow of humor aimed straight for my heart. And I felt it then, as if I were a soothsayer of myth, that someday she would be my wife.

But in the moment I was just a stranger. We hadn’t even exchanged names.

How do you win a woman’s heart when you know nothing about her?

You learn and give chase.
