Brie was not the type to hide her intentions. When she wanted someone, that person would know right away — especially if she fluttered her eyelashes and let her come-hither eyes blaze.

The art of seducation came easily to those who had magic running through their veins. Though frowned upon in some circles, it was well-known that a hint of magic sped things along when it came to displays of flirtation that might lead somewhere more.

By the time she had the person in the heat of the moment, it didn’t seem to matter to them that she had used a spell to prepare the encounter to be the sweetest it could possibly be. Losing themselves in her kiss was more than enough of a reward.

“Don’t you get tired of it?” Tasha, Brie’s roommate, asked that morning while Brie’s latest conquest showered. “I mean, how do you know that they actually want you rather than just the feel of the magic?”

Brie smiled over her cup of coffee. “Does it matter? It’s all me at the end of the day anyway.”

“I just don’t want you to get hurt,” Tasha replied.

“Don’t worry,” Brie said. “I don’t get attached easily.”
