The creative writing class I took in college focused exclusively on flash fiction as well as flash nonfiction. I remember feeling frustrated because I wanted a way to train myself to write longer-form stories, but during that class's 16 weeks I realized I'm much better suited for short-form works. But the readership is hard to find, even with online outlets and platforms.
