A girl like Harmony would probably never have a life that wasn’t chaotic.

However much she loved the nature around her, the wind always whipped against her too much. However much she tried to tidy her apartment, something always seemed to fall out of place along the way. However much she sought to find a way to make her life a wonderland instead of a nightmare, nothing seemed to make the difference.

Her love life was the same.

First, there was George: he seemed nice enough at first glance, but he talked far too much about himself. The only thing he seemed interested in involved her work — and how much money she made. He never told her she was beautiful — or pretty, even — and he preened like a peacock whenever another woman flirted with him. By the third date, she knew better than to return his texts. It was far too easy to block him and banish him from her life.

Then there was Matthew who had all the worldly assets — a handsome face, a nice body, a good salary — but he never asked her questions about herself. He seemed intent to focus on his wine or his food or his latest grievance with his boss whenever they went out to dinner. He lasted till the fifth date, but she didn’t let him go past kissing because, no matter how she tried to muster up the…
