The Beast With Those Four Dirty Paws
100 Lyrics into Stories — No45
I was once a girl.
Once upon a time.
Before the witch got a hold of me and turned me into something I wasn't meant to be.
She wanted me out of the way, you see. I was no better than something under her boot. She saw me as a threat, and I paid for it.
Oh, indeed I did.
Now I look out with red eyes swollen from tears, snuffling at the air with a nose too strong from my once-human sensibilities.
I’m a mad creature, a sad fractal of being.
I don’t know how to exist anymore.
