Thank you so much! I was really trying hard to avoid the “they all banged each other, it was fine, everything was fine” narrative I see in, say, different erotica genres or risque TV shows. I didn’t want to go that route because people I know don’t work that way. There’s morality/fidelity/decency at play here in my story.

Not a popular take, maybe, but I wanted something that rang true in that respect.
