Smells Like Christmas Spirit

pack your sleigh and let’s go
take that holiday cheer and spread it
we’re jacked up on candy cane sugar
oh no, Rudolph’s gone astray

goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
another year of disappointments
goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
wave to Santa before he flies away

with red lights blinking, we’re amazed
you don’t want coal in that stocking
let’s sip hot cocoa and play Mariah again
you don’t want coal in that stocking
an elf, a snowman, a partridge, my wish list —
yeah, it’s another Christmas

sending out those cards
gifting more than receiving
we try not to tumble into debt
but somehow we’re Santa’s helpers

goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
another year of disappointments
goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
wave to Santa before he flies away

with red lights blinking, we’re amazed
you don’t want coal in that stocking
let’s sip hot cocoa and play Mariah again
you…
