They just weren’t begging for help, their screams a cacophony to the Hidden Ones who heard the reverberations through the universe and knew it would soon be time to act.
Earth? That lonely blue planet that had survived against all costs? It was hanging on by a thread.
The Hidden Ones watched, waiting to be judges against the planet.
But Alliyah stood with her brothers and sisters — the ones she had been birthed with in the same pod cycle — and knew there was something worth saving about this planet.
She hoped it was true.
This is my third take on the 100 Story Challenge! Lyrics define these stories, and this piece‘s title was inspired by “Kingdom Come” from The Civil Wars.
