Before the apocalypse, Jade had been nothing more than a humble housewife. Then the first bomb fell in her neighborhood, and the house she had once shared with her husband and children was obliterated. She had been out-of-state to visit her parents.
She wasn’t even allowed to go back home and bury her family. The town had been blown off the map.
The first week, she was numb. Then she began to do what everyone else had been preparing for since the war began: she readied herself for pure survival.
And somehow, some way, she would get revenge.
And this is it! The 100 Story Challenge is complete for me — at least this round of it, anyway. *wink*
