Fitzwilliam Darcy was a mercurial man, Elizabeth learned, who did not love the way she tended house.

Gone were the days where he had doted on her as the wife of his heart. Gone were the days where he had kissed her lips as if nothing were sweeter.

His bed had become as cold as ice, and she was the snow queen who was dying without the warmth of his love.

“Darling,” she asked, “what can I do to make you happy again?”

But he looked at her as if he could no longer see her true.

He said nothing.

Welcome to my tribute for the 3-year anniversary of Taylor Swift’s album Evermore. This is an ode to “tolerate it,” the fifth song of the album.
