My mother died suddenly, and the only reason my father had the means to pay for the expenses was that he had had the forethought to pay for a small life insurance policy for her. I'll probably have to do the same for myself at some point so that there are funds to actually get rid of my body after I die. Fun thoughts, super fun. Good thing I'm fine with being cremated and having the ashes go anywhere.
