“You really know how to get attention, don’t you?” Samantha asked as they sat down for a coffee date in space.
Harry leaned back in his chair, relaxed, before crossing his arms behind his head. “Did you think I was going to give up without a fight?”
They grinned at each other.
“I’ve always liked the way you think,” he said.
“Really?”
He reached for her hand across the table. “You know I do.”
Lying? Not him. Not now. Never again.
“Do you want to be with me?” he asked.
“Yes.”
That was enough to make his face light up.
This is my third take on the 100 Story Challenge! Lyrics define these stories, and this piece‘s title was inspired by “Same Mistake” from James Blunt.
