After a steady few weeks of trying to plan as much of my writing content ahead of time while juggling my part-time job, I finally broke.

I decided to try out the AI writing tool called Jasper (formerly Jarvis). I thought, “Why not?” since there was a free trial involved. What was there to lose?

Had I not read this article by Corrie Who Writes, I would never have considered an AI writing assistant. I must admit I was intrigued by the idea of not relying solely on my own wits for every single thing I wrote. And if the writing could be done in a portion of the usual time it took, then all the better.

After starting my free trial, I decided to see what Jasper could do when it came to content beyond blog posts or articles. What could Jasper do for me when it came to fiction?

I decided to start simple when it came to the content description:

There is a girl who has lost herself in books. She finds friends in fictional characters, and she knows stories better than anyone. She is going to change the world someday, but not yet. Not yet. There is going to be an adventure on the horizon.
