hey, kindred spirit, did you wander my way
just to make me dizzy in the head?

never mind, it’s silly, you couldn’t have known
just how hard I would fall, nearly crashing to the floor

your endless quips drew out my smiles and laughter
like I was a slot machine ready to hand out jackpots
