It’s the Story of a Hiatus
I’ll be back — sometime.
If you’ve been following me for any iota of time, you may be wondering, “What’s going on here?”
Well, I’m here to tell you I’m going to be on a hiatus probably from here till the end of the year.
Why?
I can’t figure out what I love to write anymore.
It’s difficult, and it’s jarring, and I’m not getting joy or financial success from what I’m writing here — or anywhere, for that matter. From this standpoint, it stands that I require a much-needed break from the realm of online writing.
I don’t know when — or if — I’ll be back.
But, if you follow me here or on Twitter, you won’t be seeing me for a while. I need healing, I need time to process some things that have happened in my life regarding my mental health, and I need to rediscover why I loved writing in the first place.
It’s an uphill journey for sure.
For anyone I’ve befriended here or on Twitter — thanks for following along on the journey while it lasted. I’m glad I was able to share my words with you, and I’m hopeful that there will be some realm in the future where I’m able to dream up new worlds and stories with confidence.
In the meantime, I wish you all the best on your journeys. You deserve the sky and the stars for what you’ve been able to achieve in putting out into the world, for real. Every word and story count in some form.
You can make the difference if you only try to see what matters most.
The cards will fall in place from there.
