in the moment,
there was bliss

in the moment,
there was truth

in the moment,
everything seemed fine

in the moment,
there were so many green flags

in the moment,
it was written across the stars of fate

in the moment,
she liked the way he held her hand

in the moment,
there was a perfect gleam to his smile

in the moment,
he seemed like the world to her

in the moment,
there were so many beautiful lines to be written

in the moment,
she knew his heart was hers and hers alone

but in the moment,
there were cracks in the glass

but in the moment,
she saw how he’d be if they ever wed

but in the moment,
she heard his jokes and hated every single word

but in the moment,
she liked him more in theory rather than in person
