The wizard’s apprentice was just a scrap of a girl, but she knew better than to argue with magic users after a year of traveling with one.
That night, the wizard smoked from a pipe as she twirled her hands in the air, trying to reform mana within her palms.
“Don’t force it. You’ll break something apart if you do it like that.”
Then the wizard proceeded to demonstrate how to make a smoke dragon out of wisps from his pipe. She was not impressed.
She did not tell him she wanted to make a boy out of her mana.
This is my third take on the 100 Story Challenge! Lyrics define these stories, and this piece‘s title was inspired by “If You Want Me” from Marketa Irglova and Glen Hansard.
