I honestly never expected that back when I started writing short fiction for Vocal back in February that I would have the backlog of stories that I do now. Then I migrated over to Medium and I thought, "Okay, I'm fine with this." Some people have reached out to me because my writing affected them; I was glad that my words did something. Given that everything is already freely available to those who are interested (or, at least on Medium, those who pay for access every month), though, I've mostly thought that a "collection" might be redundant. But reading your article is making me rethink things a bit, Paul. I guess I'll have to weigh some considerations in between my new job and my graduate studies.
