I definitely gotta agree with you, especially regarding rogue creatives. I feel like that’s what happened with JK Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts as well (though I think people care less about her and her stories thanks to her political commentary and the art vs the artist argument). I mean, I enjoyed Stranger Things 4 as a whole, but it seemed needlessly bloated overall.
