I actually took this period of time to finally get around to watching Spencer, which I have enough thoughts on to write a review (though we'll see if that ever happens).
As for kings and queens - well, if we broaden it to "royalty," my favorites are The Princess Diaries (I know, fictional royalty, but still), Ophelia (a retelling of Hamlet from Ophelia's POV), and The King's Speech (I don't care much for historical films, but this one is so superb that I've seen it a few times). I do like The Queen; I'm probably due for a rewatch.
Two I didn't care for were The Other Boleyn Girl and Marie Antoinette. I haven't seen the two Elizabeth I films, but I've heard mixed things. We'll see which ones I'll add to my watched list over the next few years...
