Honestly, if I listened to some of the comments (“reviews”) left on my fiction pieces here, I probably should have quit writing a year ago. But I do recognize the need for reviews as, really, we need some way to try and cleave through the sheer amount of media/content out there to consume. Regardless, reviews do have their place, and I both dread and anticipate the day I put out something that elicits enough of a response to make the critics come running.
