In another universe, I might have been friends with a girl like Glacia Tempest. She would have been a normal girl — far from the feeds, the following, and the lure of influencer trends — and maybe in that parallel world we could have understood each other.
Instead, I was the worst kind of villain in her story: I was the one who’d tear her empire down, piece by piece, until nothing existed but ruins.
It was like revenge. It was like justice.
It was like a revelation, a trial by fire, an awakening.
And she would would never see me coming.
