Forgive me for not clapping because, boo-hiss, I dislike that you're departing (even if it's only for a brief time). I understand, though, because I too have struggled with balancing Medium and my more long-term writing goals. You need to do what you have to do to chase your joy - especially if it's also affecting your wife. I hope you're able to come back someday soon with a lighter heart once you get some of those bigger stories (of the fictional variety) out. I wish you Godspeed and plenty of inspiration. :)
