First Kisses With You
I’ve never known a love like yours.
“Don’t go,” Gabe said, threading his fingers with mine as he tugged me back to his chest. I tried not to think of him shirtless, but the image fluttered through my mind anyway.
A small smile came to his lips. “You can’t fool me,” he said, tracing his finger from my cheek to the curve of my neck. Then he leaned down and pressed a kiss to my collar bone. “I know you want to stay. You can’t hide a thing from me.”
“We just met yesterday,” I said, soft, and he chuckled.
“And why should we wait any longer?” He sighed softly. “I want to kiss you senseless, just like I promised.”
“Okay,” I said, blushing, and he led me back to his couch. He turned on the television and revved up a playlist of our favorite songs. He winked at me before he sank down beside me on the couch.
“What do you want to do first?” he asked, a mischievous note to his tone. He ran his fingertips along the back of one of my hands. “I’m up for anything, really.”
“I can’t imagine why you would want anything to do with me,” I admitted, looking down at our hands. His fingertips stilled on my hand before he sighed as if I were insufferable.
