“You have someone to see you, Kitty.”
It was a new attendant: one word from Kitty, and the last one had been ousted. Kitty set down her make-up brush and sighed.
“Who is it this time?”
“He says you know him. Edmund Reyes, I believe?”
Another sigh came. “You can send him back.”
When the man appeared in the doorway minutes later, Kitty couldn’t help her impatience.
“More than a little starstruck, are you?”
He laughed. “You never read my business card, did you?”
Kitty frowned.
“I’m a film producer,” he said. “Mr. Rothschild told you about Aquatic Dances?”
A Tale of Glitz & Glamour was inspired by Taylor Swift’s twelfth album The Life of a Showgirl. The main character is inspired by Taylor Swift’s showgirl character Kitty Finley. Out of copyright concerns, I have added my own embellishments to make the character my own, but each piece was inspired by one of Swift’s songs on the album.
