Oh, it was easy to find the bridge between heaven and earth. But did anyone ever think to look for the one between earth and hell?
I tried. I looked in catacombs ridden with lost souls, I traced mountain paths once traversed by heroes, and I stalked graveyards teeming with ghosts.
But finding the trail to hell was simple enough.
All it involved was getting your heart broken by a woman.
Her name was Delilah. She had a honey-sweet voice, and she sang sultry songs in dim nightclubs.
I should have known she could be the death of me.
