Daisy sat in the simulation room that doubled as her cell.
She sighed and twirled her finger through her hair. It was so boring. When would someone come to relieve her of her boredom?
Every day was the same. Monotonous. It was no wonder she tried to flirt and banter with the guards who were there to make sure she was kept in line.
Gatsby was out there, she knew, but she didn’t want to see him.
After all, he was the reason she was here in the first place.
Let him be kept to his robot blood games then.
This series is inspired by 1989 (Taylor’s Version) in a city on the brink of dystopian musings. Each story is 100 words, a snapshot of a larger narrative at play.
