In the other realm, he stood at attention as he watched the Revenant he had made go on rampage after rampage as if she were coming undone inside. It gave him a sick delight to see her struggling even though a part of him knew there was a spark alive within her that would not quit.
“Go on,” he murmured, watching as she ran through a forest whose branches caught at her clothing, prying. “Give me a show. I live for it. I live for it.”
He never wanted to look away from his creation, this girl of nine lives.
This is my third take on the 100 Story Challenge! Lyrics define these stories, and this piece‘s title was inspired by “I Want Crazy” from Hunter Hayes.
