Don’t leave. I’m not here to lecture you. You’re not a child, and your eyes tell a story of wars greater than most have ever known. Someday you’ll be glad for those scars. Perhaps not today — but someday. You can trust that.

What do they call you these days? I know your kind switch names as if they’re clothes.

Caledonia. That’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time. Did you choose it yourself?
