As someone who has only recently "ascended" past minimum wage positions, I've met many such managers/supervisors who throw their weight around under the perceived "burden of responsibility" they carry for these companies/institutions that didn't care about me OR them. It's...a mood, definitely. That's why I'd be all in favor of dismantling these capitalistic cogs we have going full force in this world. The only ones who benefit are the 1% who reap the benefits of what the other 99% make happen. Sigh.
