I had been living in Anima for long enough to see how the social politics worked. Wolf-kind and reptilia were the dominants above softer species like aquatics and leporidae. Inside a world removed from humans, I was lucky enough to be allowed entrance for the sake of observational study.

Wolf-kind did fascinate me the most. The local flower shop was owned by a lycan woman whose smile was as soft as a blooming rose — masking the wild heart likely beating inside her chest.

I was a mere sociologist, but I was enthralled by her and everything inside Anima.
