You don’t know my name. I never made it to the history books. Hell, I’m not sure my mother even bothered to leave behind an obituary.
But I lived. Whoever finds this, I want you to know that I existed — despite the struggle, despite everything that came to pass.
And I didn’t want to die. You probably realize this by now. Why else would I write these scraps of thought?
Maybe you freed yourself. I hope so. I’d hate to think what will happen — what has happened.
I didn’t mean to summon him. Believe me.
I just wanted to matter.
This is a spin-off from the original 100 Story Challenge created by Zane Dickens the Instigator. Because I still wanted to explore different ideas, I decided to do first-person takes mixed with AI images of “faces” generated through Night Cafe Studio.
Will I deviate from the plan? Perhaps.
