22 Things I Want to Do in 2022

It’s never too early for resolutions, is it?

The dreaded year of 2021 — what a mess it was — ends in just a little over a month. Soon we will welcome in 2022, and who knows how that’s going to go?

I’d like to be optimistic, though, so here are some things I want to do in 2022.

22. Go to a cat cafe.

I just really, really, really want to go to one (even if it means that I long to pick them all up and take them home to my three already-heavily-spoiled cats).

21. Read 100 books.

I read over a hundred books all the way back in 2010 or 2011, and it’s been a goal of mine to reach that point once again in my life. (In 2020, I read over 700 manga volumes, but that’s just not the same as reading over one hundred 350–400 page novels/short story collections/nonfiction books/etc.)

20. Try Indian food for the first time.

This is a travesty since I know a few Indian people who would probably give me great recommendations of places they like to go, but I’ve just always shied away because of the potential spice factor.

19. Go on a vacation to a place that isn’t Disney World.
