I won’t bore you with an opener, but…well, we’ll see where this goes.

Buckle up.

  1. There’s a storm brewing on the horizon, and only a witch can stop it.
  2. I write too much about witches, don’t I? But I love them. Especially witch sisters. Hocus Pocus, y’all!
  3. I should write about goddess sisters too, like the Norns. I have a few notebooks with drabbles about them. They probably oversee Fate itself.
  4. Yes, a lot of my story ideas are informed by myths and legends. But some are overdone. I probably will never touch Hades and Persephone for that reason alone (though I’ve written a few drabbles about them in different guises).
  5. Okay, yeah, gotta speed this up. What else? I love mermaids. Sirens especially. I should probably write a demented take on The Little Mermaid. Someday, I hope!
  6. Yes, I love twisted takes on fairy tales too. Too often my ideas follow those familiar trails — only to fork decidedly off the Disney route.
