I can hear you exhale in surprise.

“You actually write nonfiction?”

I know. It’s a shocker, isn’t it?

But, yes, I have a beating heart that bleeds for both fictional and nonfictional pursuits.

I won’t say I’m any good at “real-life” stories, but they exist for the people who want a bit of a peek into the psyche of the woman writing all those strange stories.

To make things simple, I chose a “stand-out” (in my humble opinion) story for each month of 2022 and included it in a handy list below for you to peruse at your leisure. Sometimes it’s a story about me and my (un)romantic escapades. Sometimes it’s a story about things that move me. And other times it’ll just be something that stuck in my head because I mulled over the piece for a long time (don’t worry, you’ll know the one when you get to it).

In short — if you want to get to know me better, then you should read some of my nonfiction.

And what better place to start than this list?
